Resource Person for the Workshop

Dr Mehmet Emin Aydin is Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of the West of England. His research interests include machine learning, intelligent agents and multi agent systems, metaheuristics, swarm intelligence, resource planning, scheduling and optimization, combinatorial optimization. He has secured several research grants, published one edited research book, 120+ journal and conference articles and supervised many PhD and post-doctoral supervisions. He is editorial board member of various peer-reviewed international journals. He is currently fellow of Higher Education Academy, member of EPSRC College in the UK, and senior member of ACM and IEEE.

Dr. Aftab has earned Doctorate Degree in Computer Application & Technology from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA) in 2010. He has more than twenty years of professional experience in teaching and research in different countries including Pakistan, China and Oman. Dr. Aftab is well published author of several research articles in Impact Factor Journals. He has supervised several PhD dissertations and projects and leading a research group of Computational Intelligence (CI).

He is having more than 14 years teaching, research and management experience.
